In Kryvyi Rih, a man concealed a hand grenade on the roof of someone else's shed.

In Kryvyi Rih, a man illegally stored a grenade and later placed it on the roof of someone else's private building. For this, he received a court sentence. This information is reported in the verdict of the Dolgintsevsky Court of Kryvyi Rih, according to "Vidomo".

According to the case materials, the man found an RGD-5 grenade and took it home, where he stored it unlawfully.

In June 2024, near one of the grocery stores, the man displayed the ammunition to those around him. He then moved it to the roof of a utility building belonging to another property located nearby.

On the same day, the police inspected the scene and removed the grenade and its fuse from the roof. According to an expert's conclusion, the seized ammunition was capable of detonating.

Additionally, the police conducted a superficial search of the accused and discovered a cold weapon—a knuckle duster—that he had found and carried without legal permission.

The man admitted his guilt and reached an agreement with the investigation. He was found guilty of illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosives (part 1, 2 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

He was sentenced to 4 years in prison, which was commuted to 1 year of probation.
