In Kamensk, a man discovered someone else's bank card and spent 35,000 hryvnias from it.

Police in Kamenskoye have submitted an indictment to the court concerning a 48-year-old man who embezzled over 35 thousand hryvnias from the bank accounts of local residents. This information was reported by "Vydomo" citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Authorities discovered that a young woman had lost her bank card equipped with contactless payment technology but failed to report it to her bank. A local resident took advantage of the situation after finding the card on the street and decided to keep it. He then began to withdraw cash gradually, as there was a limit set on the card. In total, he spent over 35 thousand hryvnias.

The man has been notified of the suspicion under part 4 of Article 185 and part 1 of Article 357 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On November 26, investigators forwarded the indictment against the suspect to the court.
