In Dnipro, a robber assaulted and robbed a local resident, resulting in the victim's death.

Police in Dnipro have reported suspicions against a 35-year-old man for robbery and the beating of a city resident, which resulted in the victim's death. This information was provided by "Vydomo" citing the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The incident occurred on November 17 on Bohomaza Street in the Amur-Nyzhnodniprovsk district of the city.

As established by law enforcement, there was a verbal conflict between the suspect and the victim. When the argument escalated, the assailant struck his opponent several times on the head, then took his gadget and fled the scene. The victim succumbed to his injuries a few days later.

Police managed to locate the perpetrator. He turned out to be a 35-year-old local resident.

Investigators informed the suspect of the charges under Part 4 of Article 187 (robbery) and Part 2 of Article 121 (intentional grievous bodily harm resulting in the victim's death) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. On December 2, the court imposed a pre-trial detention measure on the detained individual.
