In Dnipro, a robber broke into the home of an 82-year-old victim and, threatening her, stole her gold jewelry. This was reported by "Vідомо," referencing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On February 17, around 6:30 PM, a frightened resident contacted the police. The pensioner reported that a man had entered her home and robbed her – taking her earrings.

Within a few hours of the crime, operatives located and apprehended the robber. He turned out to be a 53-year-old man, who had previously committed property crimes. It was revealed that the stolen items had already been pawned.

On February 18, investigators informed the man of his suspicion under Part 4 of Article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The crime he committed could lead to a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
