Cynically killed an acquaintance: Police in Dnipro have detained a 47-year-old man (PHOTO)

A 35-year-old man was killed in the Chechelov district of Dnipro. On the evening of December 4, around 21:20, the police received a report about the discovery of a body with a stab wound near one of the local stores. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found the deceased, who had sustained an injury to the chest. This was reported by "Vidiomo" referencing the Dnipropetrovsk region police.

The initial examination of the crime scene indicated that death resulted from severe bleeding caused by a sharp object strike.

Thanks to witness testimonies that partially described the attacker, the police created a composite sketch of the suspect. The use of a service dog played a crucial role in the investigation.

The canine handler, along with his German Shepherd Tyson, conducted a thorough analysis of the crime scene, after which the dog followed a trail and stopped in front of a private house after several blocks.

It was there that a 47-year-old man, suspected of murder, was apprehended. He did not resist arrest.

During a search of the suspect's home, a kitchen knife with signs of blood was found. It has been sent for examination to compare with blood samples taken from the crime scene.

The suspect is currently in custody. He has been charged with intentional murder, which carries severe penalties.
