A statement is actively circulating online claiming that the investigator refused to meet with the parents of the deceased girl. Anna Starchevskaya, a representative of the regional police, has denied this information. This was reported by writes "Dnipro Operational," referencing the press service of the National Police of Dnipropetrovsk region, as conveyed by "Vidomo."
The police state that the man was interrogated, and the information spreading online is not true. It has been said that the parents waited for two hours outside the investigator's office, only for him to exit, slam the door, and leave.
According to Starchevskaya, the father was indeed called in for questioning, and based on the footage from the cameras, he waited for about 30 minutes outside the office while the investigator completed preliminary work. Afterward, the father was questioned, recognized as a victim, and then released.
Starchevskaya emphasized that the information circulating widely online is inaccurate.
Previously, on the social network Instagram, user Alexey Senko claimed that in Dnipro, the investigator handling the case of a fatal traffic accident involving a BMW in the residential area of Krasny Kamysh refused to communicate with the parents of the deceased 10-year-old girl.
"As of today, the senior investigator handling this case, specifically Neborachko Alexander Valeryevich, did not meet with the parents of the deceased Milana. After two hours of waiting, the investigator left the office without explanation. I do not understand this state. Do you need to come in with money right away, or else you are not worth attention? Or have you not decided who to blame? The driver, then someone else. First, the cameras don't work, and after the publicity, you take the video. How does this work?" – the man wrote.
