The Dnipro police have launched a criminal investigation into an assault at a tram stop.

The police in Dnipro are investigating a criminal case regarding hooligan actions involving unknown individuals who assaulted a man at a tram stop in the Shevchenkivskyi district, as reported by "Vydomo" with reference to the Facebook page of the Dnipro City Police.

On December 5, information and a video began circulating on social media, capturing the assault of a man in the central part of the city.

Law enforcement officials are gathering evidence, reviewing surveillance footage, and identifying participants and witnesses of the incident.

Additionally, investigators have entered information into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – hooliganism. The investigation is ongoing.
