Officers from the Chernivtsi Border Detachment apprehended three residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region who were attempting to illegally cross into Romania in a mountainous area along the state border. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing GPSU.

While traversing the mountains, the illegal tourists decided to rest until morning, planning to continue their endeavor during daylight. To facilitate this, they set up tents in the forest equipped with heating devices. However, their actions were monitored by a border patrol, and during their rest, the border guards detained them.

During the conversation with the detainees, the border guards learned that the three residents of Dnipropetrovsk had purchased an electronic map with the route for 2,000 dollars from one of the Telegram channels.

Materials regarding the administrative offense have been compiled concerning the detained violators.
