In Synelnykove, a man fatally beat his 4-year-old daughter.

In the Synelnykove district, a court has sentenced a man who fatally beat his 4-year-old daughter. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

It was proven in court that the 38-year-old resident of the Synelnykove district systematically abused his 4-year-old daughter. In November 2021, he struck the child multiple times on the head and body with a belt and his hand. The girl succumbed to her injuries.

During the trial, the man denied his guilt; however, he was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison for causing intentional serious bodily harm resulting in the victim's death (part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Until the sentence comes into legal force, the convicted man will remain in custody.
