В Кривом Роге суд наказал отца-тирана, который избивал и обжигал сына сигаретами.

In Kryvyi Rih, a man subjected his own young son to prolonged physical and emotional abuse. For this, he was punished by the court, as reported by "Vydomo" citing "Kryvyi Rih Life".

The reasons behind the man's cruel treatment of his biological son remain unexplained. However, the investigation has established, and the court has proven, instances of abuse inflicted on the child by a healthy and strong father.

The boy had temporarily been living with a new family created by his father since December 25 of last year, which prevented him from defending his rights and protecting himself from violence and cruelty. The father would scold, insult, and humiliate the child for the slightest wrongdoing. Often, he would take a belt and beat him on various parts of his body, instilling fear and making threats.

In February 2024, in front of witnesses, the man slapped the young boy, hurled obscene insults at him, and threatened even harsher punishment. Such treatment resulted in both physical and psychological suffering for the child.

In June, the boy approached his father on the balcony and asked for a mobile phone to play games, justifying his request by saying that school was over and he had free time during the holidays. However, this enraged the tyrant: he took a cigarette butt and extinguished it on the boy's left thigh.

The criminal proceedings against the negligent father were initiated on June 11, and only on October 31 did the accused reach a plea agreement acknowledging his guilt.

On November 29, the Zhovtnevy District Court of the city found the individual guilty of committing a criminal offense under Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and imposed a penalty of 1 year of restricted freedom with a probation period of 1 year.

Based on paragraph 2 of part 1 of Article 91-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the court imposed a restriction on the defendant's contact with the child for a period of 1 month.
