Today, near the "Lukyanivska" metro station, we held a working meeting with residents of buildings affected by Russian aggression. A powerful shockwave caused significant damage: windows were shattered, roofs were damaged, and in one building, the elevators have stopped working. In total, 8 multi-story buildings have suffered and are in urgent need of restoration.
Together with my colleagues – Liliia Pashynna, Zhenya Kuleba, and the head of the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration, Oleksandr Popovtsev – I visited this area. We met with local residents to understand their urgent needs and assist in the restoration of the damaged homes.
Communication with the community is the key to addressing the urgent problems of the city!
During the meeting, we explained to everyone the necessary procedures for receiving assistance and restoring housing. The deputies expressed their readiness to allocate additional funds for material aid to expedite the repair work.
The Shevchenkivskyi District Administration, together with the Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine fund, is already coordinating the process of replacing damaged windows. We also expect the resumption of registry operations, which will enable the launch of assistance programs within the framework of Recovery.
What has already been done?
