Kuchma was fined 34,000 UAH after failing to appear at the recruitment office on January 22, citing his attendance at a soldier's farewell ceremony.
The Territorial Recruitment Center responded by requesting police assistance for his forced delivery; however, Kuchma voluntarily arrived at the center on January 27.
The Operational Command of the Western Region of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that the mobilization law requires local authorities to maintain accurate military records and ensure the attendance of conscripts at collection points. Based on this legal framework, the decision to fine the mayors was deemed appropriate.
In light of the ongoing conflict with the Russian Federation, the Western Operational Command called for enhanced coordination and cooperation among all parties involved, with a unified focus on achieving Ukraine's victory.
