The Pension Fund of Ukraine has issued a memo regarding these payments, emphasizing the criteria for eligibility and the calculation methodology.
According to Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance," retirees are entitled to additional payments if they:
Receive an old-age pension;
Have a work experience of over 35 years (for men) or over 30 years (for women).
For retirees who continue to work, the recalculation of additional payments will occur after they leave their job or when the minimum subsistence level increases.

The amount of this supplement is determined as 1% of the minimum old-age pension for each additional year of service. In 2025, the minimum pension for individuals with complete disability is set at 2361 UAH. Thus, the supplement for each additional year of work experience will be 23.61 UAH.
What is important to know:
If the total pension amount exceeds the minimum subsistence level, the supplement is provided in full.
If the pension payment is below the minimum subsistence level, the supplement will be adjusted proportionally.
More detailed information and individual calculations can be obtained by retirees from the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which continues to inform citizens about available benefits and payments.
