Representatives of the center explained that in certain cases, mobilized individuals are given time to address personal matters.

Recently, a video surfaced online featuring a man subject to mobilization claiming that he was not allowed to hand over his keys to acquaintances at the TCC, so they could visit his cat left in the apartment. This incident was commented on by Larisa Kozak, Deputy Head of the RTC and SP in Kyiv, at a press conference.

Kozak noted that there are indeed instances where a mobilized individual goes straight to a training center after a medical examination, without the opportunity to attend to urgent personal matters. However, according to the official, she is not aware of any cases where mobilized individuals were prohibited from handling household issues.

She also emphasized that the information presented in the video is not accurate. Mobilized citizens have the ability to communicate with relatives and manage personal affairs. According to legislation, those who personally arrive at the TCC can receive time to resolve household matters within two months before mobilization, if they are subject to conscription.

However, for those who violate established norms, such an opportunity is not provided.

Kozak also reminded that training centers and distribution points are not places of deprivation of liberty. They can accommodate not only mobilized individuals but also their relatives, acquaintances, and lawyers who provide legal assistance.
