Maxim Akhrameev, the head of the Preventive Activities Department of the National Police, stated during a telethon that the police will respond to individuals found on the streets during the curfew.

While law enforcement will approach the situation with understanding, acknowledging that some individuals may have urgent reasons to be outside, such as emergency medical care or necessary hospital visits, offenders will still be detained for questioning.

Akhrameev emphasized that there are currently no legal sanctions specifically provided for violating the curfew.

Since December 24, a large number of police officers have been deployed in high-traffic areas and along highways. Akhrameev noted that the situation in the country varies, with service conditions differing in regions where active combat operations are taking place or that border the Russian Federation.

The curfew, in effect since the beginning of the full-scale war, is intended to ensure public safety and maintain order during this challenging time.
