According to the specialist, electricity supply restrictions typically occur only during extreme cold spells when temperatures drop below -10 °C and remain at that level for at least one to two weeks.
However, forecasts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, as reported by Gennady Ryabtsev, indicate that throughout February, temperatures across Ukraine are expected to range from -3 °C to +2 °C, making such a scenario unlikely.

The expert emphasized that the primary threat to Ukraine's energy system remains the potential for large-scale attacks by Russian missiles and drones on critical infrastructure.
If such strikes occur, they could disrupt electricity supply, but solely weather conditions are unlikely to cause outages in the near future.
