In particular, the message discusses the salary and material support for special forces scouts.

“Salaries are calculated based on a separate pay scale. It can reach up to 200 thousand per month, depending on the tasks and the duration of stay in the area of combat operations. The unit also provides personnel with food, medical assistance, ammunition, and transportation during their time in the area,” the message states.

At the same time, representatives of the intelligence emphasized that most positions in Artan are combat-related. Therefore, the unit has established an effective rotation system for soldiers to recover after completing their tasks.

“We mitigate the load on the military with regular rotations after each task. This year, the unit has expanded its personnel. Additional positions for mechanics-drivers, medics, and engineers have emerged,” the unit's page reports.

Separately, the special forces commented on the current topic regarding the possibility of transfer. According to the released information, it is generally easier for civilians wishing to serve in intelligence to mobilize directly into “Artan” than to later seek a transfer to the GUR from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main difficulty lies in the different command structures, making the procedure potentially very lengthy.

Earlier, an officer of “Artan” with the callsign Favorit congratulated Ukrainians on the New Year and summarized the results of 2024. According to him, over the year, the unit has grown significantly and has also managed to substantially improve the intelligence support system for operational planning. On New Year's Eve, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, recorded a message in which he personally thanked the commander of “Artan,” Viktor Titan, for effective work.
