In Pavlograd, the case against the traitor who sold the "recipe" for solid rocket fuel has been closed.

In Pavlograd, over the span of 7 years, no employee of the state enterprise "NPO Pavlograd Chemical Plant" has been found who stole the formulas for solid rocket fuel for subsequent sale, reports "Vidomo," citing beg.dp.ua.

The pre-trial investigation determined that from May 22 to May 26, 2017, an unidentified employee of the state enterprise "NPO Pavlograd Chemical Plant," acting as an authorized person working with documentary materials that constitute state secrets with restricted access, disclosed information found on electronic storage devices belonging to a citizen of China.

A search was conducted at the residence of the Chinese citizen in the "Khimik" hotel complex. During the search, a flash drive was seized from the foreign national. Upon examining the contents of the information stored on the flash drive, three folders were discovered, containing photographs of books with formulas for solid rocket fuels, the names of installations, and their recipes.

Throughout the pre-trial investigation, the individual responsible for the criminal offense has not been identified, and no suspicion has been communicated to any individual; more than 7 years have passed since the events occurred.

As a result, the court ruled: the criminal proceedings, registered in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on October 13, 2017, for signs of a criminal offense under Article 328, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (disclosure of information constituting state secrets, meaning illegal communication of such information to unauthorized persons (even one individual) – shall be closed based on paragraph 3-1 of Part 1 of Article 284 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution.
