In Kryvyi Rih, a man attempted to sell a grenade launcher (PHOTO).

In the Pokrovsky district of Kryvyi Rih on January 29, law enforcement officials apprehended a man on the street who was attempting to sell a grenade launcher, as reported by "Vydomo" citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The seller turned out to be a 23-year-old previously convicted resident of Kryvyi Rih. During a search of his home, four grenade launcher rounds were discovered. The seized evidence has been sent for examination.

The man was informed of the suspicion under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — illegal manufacture, reprocessing, or repair of firearms or forgery, illegal removal or alteration of its markings, or illegal production of ammunition, explosives, or explosive devices. He faces up to seven years in prison.
