According to data from Meteoagent, which monitors fluctuations in the Earth's magnetic field, the Kp index has risen to a level of 5, indicating a G1 class geomagnetic storm that could affect both technology and human well-being.
Experts note that this is not the first surge of geomagnetic disturbances this month. From January 25 to January 28, the storm was particularly intense, although it initially began to weaken.
However, instead of continuing to subside, it unexpectedly gained strength. On January 29, the index surged to nearly 7 points, signaling a much more significant disturbance before dropping to 2 points yesterday.
Scientists warn that geomagnetic storms can impact satellite communications, disrupt navigation systems, and even affect human health.

Individuals sensitive to such phenomena may experience headaches, fatigue, irritability, or sleep problems.
To mitigate potential effects, experts recommend:
Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule.
Keeping hydrated throughout the day.
Opting for light, nutritious food.
Avoiding alcohol and excessive stress.
As solar activity continues to fluctuate, experts advise staying updated on the latest news regarding space weather and taking simple precautions to minimize any negative impacts.
