However, according to the Ministry of Energy, electricity tariffs will not increase starting January 1, 2025. The current tariff will remain unchanged at least until the end of April 2025.
Additionally, certain consumer groups may pay significantly less for electricity under specific conditions:
Owners of two-zone meters:
Day tariff (7:00 AM–11:00 PM): 4.32 UAH per kilowatt-hour.
Night tariff (11:00 PM–7:00 AM): 2.16 UAH per kilowatt-hour.
This scheme allows consumers to save money by primarily using electricity during off-peak hours.
In addition, there is a special preferential rate of 2.64 UAH per kilowatt-hour, but only if monthly consumption remains below 2000 kilowatt-hours.
This reduced tariff is applicable exclusively during the heating season from October 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025.
Consumers are encouraged to explore energy-efficient methods and take advantage of preferential tariffs to manage electricity costs during the winter months.
