A victim of robbery at the Dnipro train station tried to apprehend the thief after having their bag snatched from their shoulder.

In Dnipro, police have identified a robber who boldly stole belongings from one of the city's residents in broad daylight, reports "Vідомо" citing the Dnipropetrovsk police.

At one of the city's train stations, the criminal snatched a bag from the victim's shoulder and fled with the stolen goods. The 52-year-old victim attempted to chase after the thief who had taken his property; however, his efforts were in vain, prompting him to report the crime to law enforcement.

Officers from the Dnipro District Police Department No. 1, after determining all circumstances on-site, initiated a search for the individual involved in the crime. As a result of their efforts, the police arrested a 35-year-old man under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. All stolen items were confiscated by the police.

On December 27, investigators informed the detained individual of the suspicion regarding the commission of a criminal offense as stipulated in Part 4 of Article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
