According to expert Sergey Korobkin, who spoke on Rанок.LIVE, a 10% pension indexation is planned for 2025, although this is still a preliminary proposal and has not yet been officially approved.
The indexation is intended to reflect inflation (11% per year) and wage growth rates. However, Korobkin warned that the actual increase in pension payments may be lower due to the complex calculation system.
The issue lies in the fact that it is not the basic pension amount that is adjusted, but rather the salary figure used in the calculation formula.
In many cases, additional allowances have to be excluded from the calculation, which often results in the final figure being lower than what retirees might expect.
