Starting January 1, the cost of processing key documents has increased. Find out how much money you should set aside.

For Ukrainian citizens, the initial issuance of an identity card remains free of charge. However, the fee for processing an identity card within 20 calendar days is now 558 hryvnias, while expedited processing within 10 days will require a payment of 928 hryvnias.

The cost of a passport has also increased. Processing within 20 days will now cost 1042 hryvnias, and obtaining the document within 7 days will be 1682 hryvnias.

Additionally, the fees for residence permits have been adjusted. The new fee for a permanent residence permit is set at 1175 hryvnias, and for a temporary residence permit, it is 1080 hryvnias.

It is important to note that applications submitted before December 31, 2024, will be processed at the old rates. However, if payment was made before this date but the application was not submitted by the same date, the applicant will need to pay the difference based on the updated fees during the processing of documents.
