Germany has implemented stricter conditions for receiving Bürgergeld payments. Working-age Ukrainians who refuse offered jobs, integration courses, or employment seminars will face reductions in their benefits. For the first violation, benefits will be cut by 10%, for the second by 20%, and for the third by 30%.
In Ireland, changes will focus on temporary housing and living conditions for Ukrainians. Starting from March 2025, free temporary accommodation will no longer be provided.
Additionally, the stay duration for Ukrainian citizens will be reduced to 90 days. To offset these changes, the government plans to increase weekly social benefits for refugees from 4 to 12 euros.
Austria will also adjust its assistance policy for Ukrainians with vehicles, implementing these rules differently across various regions. In Vienna, benefits will only be lost by owners of expensive cars, while in Lower Austria, payments will be withdrawn from all vehicle owners regardless of the vehicle's value. At the same time, the Austrian government has increased family support payments for Ukrainians by 4.6%.
