This adjustment includes a special bonus that will be added to their monthly pension, providing additional financial support to eligible individuals.
The extra payment will be granted to retirees aged 70 and older, provided that their total pension does not exceed 10,340.35 UAH per month. Eligibility extends to those receiving an old-age pension.
One important detail to note is that the additional payment begins on the exact day the retiree reaches retirement age, rather than at the start of the calendar month.
As a result, the first payment may be partial, calculated based on the number of remaining days in that month.
The amount of the additional payment varies depending on the age group:
Ages 70–74: 300 UAH per month.
Retirees aged 75–79: will receive an additional 456 UAH per month.
Ages 80 and older: 570 UAH each month.
