According to Health Minister Viktor Lyashko, all certificates and conclusions from the Medical and Social Expert Commissions (MSEC) issued before January 1, 2025, will remain valid, ensuring that individuals with disabilities can continuously receive benefits.
It has also been confirmed that individuals with permanent (lifetime) disabilities will not need to undergo repeated examinations unless they request it themselves or a court mandates it. This transition is part of the changes in the disability assessment process.
Starting January 1, 2025, the MSEC will cease operations, and new expert commissions in hospitals will take over this role, as outlined in recent legislative changes.
