Citrus fruits continue to be a favorite treat for many, as oranges and tangerines not only delight the palate but also serve as genuine sources of vitamins and antioxidants that help support the immune system during the cold season.

According to recent data, the price of regular oranges has dropped from 71.35 UAH per kilogram in December to 58.95 UAH in January, much to the delight of consumers. Egyptian oranges have also become cheaper, with their price falling from 64.52 UAH to 54.90 UAH per kilogram. However, premium varieties of oranges have seen an increase in price, rising from 80.81 UAH to 87.65 UAH per kilogram.
When it comes to tangerines, the situation is more varied. The average price of standard tangerines has remained almost unchanged, slightly decreasing from 81.75 UAH to 80.70 UAH per kilogram. Spanish tangerines have seen a slight price drop from 142.87 UAH to 141.80 UAH per kilogram. Meanwhile, the price of clementines has significantly increased from 71.56 UAH to 82.40 UAH per kilogram.

Thus, the beginning of 2025 has brought Ukrainians a decrease in prices for many types of oranges, while prices for tangerines have remained stable or have risen slightly.
