According to preliminary estimates, the adjustment may lead to an increase of 10–17%, although the exact percentage will only be confirmed closer to the recalculation date.

It is important to clarify that the indexing will apply solely to the basic pension, excluding any additional allowances or supplements. Following the recalculation, an increase is expected ranging from a minimum of 100 hryvnias to a maximum of 1500 hryvnias.

However, it is worth noting that the upcoming adjustment will not affect all pensioners. Those who began receiving their pensions in recent years will not see any changes, as their payments are already considered current.

Furthermore, there are no plans to increase the minimum subsistence level for individuals who have lost their ability to work. This means that the minimum pension will remain at 2361 hryvnias, while the maximum will stay at 23610 hryvnias.

Although indexing promises financial support to many pensioners, its benefits will primarily impact those with older pensions, leaving new recipients and those already receiving the maximum pension amount unaffected.
