In Dnipropetrovsk region, a man faced three years in prison for twice ignoring a summons.

The Mezhiv District Court of Dnipropetrovsk region has issued a verdict against a man who refused mobilization, reports "Vedomo" citing Sud.ua.

According to the case materials, the man was summoned twice – in June and September 2024. However, he declined to accept the document and evaded mobilization.

During the trial, the man stated that he "does not object to the explanations he provided during the pre-trial investigation. He regrets his actions." The court did not take into account the man's statement of "remorse,"

The court found the man guilty under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Evasion of conscription during mobilization") and sentenced him to three years of imprisonment.
