In Dnipropetrovsk, an official will face trial for purchasing substandard shelter for a kindergarten.

A former employee of the communal institution of the Obukhiv community in the Dnipro region signed a contract in 2023 with a company for the purchase of a modular shelter for a kindergarten accommodating 50 children, which did not meet GOST standards and lacked protective properties, as reported by "Vydomo," referencing the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Regardless, the official transferred funds to the company's account, causing damage to the local budget amounting to 1.6 million hryvnias.

Currently, prosecutors from the Slobozhansky District Prosecutor's Office have submitted an indictment to the court for abuse of office, which resulted in severe consequences.
