The first group consists of pensioners who have not used their designated account for 12 consecutive months. If no transactions, such as withdrawals or transfers, are recorded during this period, the remaining funds in the account will be returned to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

The second group includes pensioners who have not undergone physical identification within six months. This rule primarily affects those who obtained IDP status before February 24, 2022.

It is important to note that these changes will only affect a specific subgroup of pensioners, particularly those who registered as IDPs at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

If funds are withdrawn from a pensioner's account, they should contact Oschadbank or the Pension Fund of Ukraine to restore their payments. After submitting the necessary documents and completing the identification process, payments will resume. Additionally, any funds that accumulated in the account before the withdrawals will be fully restored.

For those who are unable to complete the identification process by the end of March 2024, there remains the option to verify their identity at any convenient time. This can be done in person by visiting the Pension Fund office or via video conference.
