However, certain categories of Ukrainians are entitled to pension supplements, particularly after reaching the age of 65.
According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Ukrainians aged 60 with a minimum work experience of 32 years are eligible for a pension.
Additionally, pensions are available to individuals at the following ages:
63 years with a minimum work experience of 22 years,
65 years with a minimum work experience of 15 years.
For individuals aged 65 with the necessary work experience, the pension should amount to 40% of their salary. If the calculated pension falls below this threshold, an automatic supplement is applied to reach the specified level.

There is no need to submit an application to the Pension Fund, as the process is automatic. However, no additional payments beyond this supplement are provided.
Moreover, elderly pensioners receive additional payments based on their age:
70–74 years: an additional payment of 300 UAH,
75–79 years: an additional payment of 456 UAH,
80 years and older: an additional payment of 570 UAH.
These payments are also calculated automatically. However, they are granted only to elderly Ukrainians whose monthly pension does not exceed 10,340.35 UAH.
In addition, in 2025, labor veterans are entitled to an additional payment equal to double the minimum old-age pension, which provides further financial support for this category of pensioners.
