Subsidy Amount

The aid amount in 2025 may reach 16,234 hryvnias. The subsidy size is dependent on the family's income: the lower the income, the higher the payment amount. However, for vulnerable groups such as pensioners and individuals with disabilities, the maximum assistance amount is capped at 13,600 hryvnias.

It is important to note that the subsidy is granted once a year and is intended exclusively for those who use firewood as their primary heating source. Households with gas or electric heating will not be eligible for the program.

Why is the Subsidy Needed?

Government support is aimed at reducing the financial burden on the most vulnerable segments of the population who are suffering from rising prices for solid fuel. The program helps ensure comfortable living conditions and warmth in homes during the winter season.

For families living in border areas, such subsidies become an essential support measure, especially in the absence of gas supply.
