This issue has drawn public attention from Sergey Derkach, the Deputy Minister of Development and Territories of Ukraine.

According to Derkach, the problem arises during the registration process in the Polish SENT/RMPD system, which is mandatory for monitoring the movement of goods. Carriers report that even minor mistakes, such as missing punctuation during registration or temporary GPS signal loss over a few hundred meters, lead to substantial fines.

These fines often reach 12,000 zlotys, equivalent to approximately 120,000 hryvnias.

The high cost of these fines has become a significant burden for Ukrainian carriers, many of whom are already struggling with economic challenges and the demands of operating during wartime.

Transport companies argue that such minor errors should not justify fines of this magnitude, and they are calling for a more lenient and reasonable application of the rules.

Ukrainian officials have expressed their intention to address this issue at a bilateral level to protect the interests of their transport companies and ensure fair treatment of carriers operating in Poland.

The situation remains a critical topic for discussion, and carriers are hopeful for a solution that will alleviate the financial burden caused by these fines.
