Starting from Monday, December 9, Ukraine is expected to experience a significant rise in temperature, with daytime highs reaching +15 °C. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, it will be warmer in most regions, and positive temperatures will remain even at night.

However, in the western and northern regions, including Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Volyn, Rivne, and Transcarpathia, there may still be slight nighttime frosts, with minimum temperatures dropping to -2 °C.

During the day, it will be noticeably warmer across most of Ukraine. In Crimea, temperatures could rise to +15 °C. Meanwhile, in the western, northern, and eastern regions, daytime temperatures will be around +3 °C. In Kyiv, temperatures are forecasted to range from +1 °C to +3 °C both at night and during the day.

As for precipitation, rain and snowfall are expected in most of Ukraine, except for Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions. Rain is also possible in Kyiv.
