The bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Restoration of Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification of Greenhouse Gas Emissions."
This document reinstates the mandatory reporting of installation operators within the MZR framework, which was adopted in 2021 but is currently voluntary due to martial law. This will help us improve the efficiency of data collection on greenhouse gas emissions. It also represents a logical and consistent step towards the implementation of an emissions trading system, which is the most effective market mechanism for reducing CO2 emissions. Additionally, this bill is an indicator of securing funding under the Ukraine Facility program.

This option will remain limited for employees of environmental institutions, law enforcement, and other agencies and services in the performance of their official duties.
There is no critical need for the use of SUVs, enduro motorcycles, and buggies by tourists. This type of recreation should become a thing of the past, just as it has in European countries. "Jeeping" pollutes the soil, destroys plant life, and harms wildlife. By declaring a ban on jeeping, we are implementing civilized European practices in the management of protected natural areas.
