The main idea of the program is to create recovery spaces through gaming in medical institutions and rehabilitation centers. These spaces are equipped with PlayStation, VR headsets, and other technologies that aid in physical and cognitive rehabilitation. While in these environments, visitors can use games to enhance their motor skills, coordination, attention, and memory, all of which are crucial components of comprehensive recovery.

As of September 2024, two recovery spaces are operational in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, with two more set to open soon. During this time, over 400 gaming sessions have been conducted, attended daily by up to 10 injured individuals. Interactive rehabilitation not only supports physical health but also fosters emotional recovery, making the healing process more comfortable and engaging.

The second key component of the program is the "recovery backpacks"—special kits designed for those continuing rehabilitation at home, which include all necessary materials for self-rehabilitation through interactive games. Currently, more than 70 such backpacks have been distributed to medical institutions in Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions.

The charitable foundation Favbet Foundation has taken on the financing of both components of the project, ensuring communication with partners and organizing the procurement of necessary equipment.

“Recovery through play is an effective rehabilitation method that has been successfully utilized in leading medical institutions across Europe and the USA for several years. We are sincerely grateful to the 'Krevni' team for the opportunity to be part of this project and to be among the first to open innovative recovery possibilities,” says the Favbet Foundation.
