This was stated by people's deputy, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation, Arseniy Pushkarenko.
“Ukraine is currently fighting for the architecture of European security; in fact, we are battling for the entire North Atlantic bloc. Therefore, I believe that the policy of the NATO Secretary General will remain supportive of our country, meaning we will continue to receive assistance in our war with the Russian Federation. This is confirmed by the visit of the new Secretary General of the Alliance, Mark Rutte, to Kyiv. It is proof that NATO stands by Ukraine,” the politician noted.
He added that at the same time, our country insists on rapidly joining the Alliance, making significant efforts along this path.
“Ukraine is dynamically, flexibly, and swiftly accomplishing the tasks set on the path to NATO. We are transforming our legislation and Armed Forces to align with the standards of the Bloc. The current war is a challenge to global security, and NATO, as an organization designed to deter and protect, has a vested interest in Ukraine's victory. Because if we lose, aggression will continue,” emphasized the people's deputy.
