Drunk driver caught by police in Dnipro after drinking near a school and transporting children. (PHOTO)

In Dnipro, patrol officers stopped a driver who had consumed alcohol near one of the city's educational institutions and then got behind the wheel and drove off. Four children were present in the vehicle at the time. This was reported by the Dnipro patrol police, as conveyed by "Vydomo".

Marina Gubanova, an inspector of educational safety at one of Dnipro's schools, noticed the man near the school and alerted her colleagues. The patrol quickly located and stopped the specified driver. During their interaction, they observed signs of intoxication. The individual underwent a breathalyzer test using a Drager. The result was positive – 2.02 promille of alcohol in the blood of the 40-year-old driver.

The police compiled a protocol under part 1 of article 130 (Driving under the influence) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses and removed him from driving.

The most concerning aspect is that there were four children in the car along with the intoxicated driver.
