In Pavlograd, a woman vandalized a memorial by tearing down a portrait of a fallen soldier (VIDEO).

On Wednesday, February 12, an incident occurred in Pavlograd that sparked public outrage. A surveillance camera captured an unknown woman tearing down the portrait of a fallen defender from the memorial stele and leaving the scene. This was reported by "Izvestno" referencing the Telegram channels "Pavlograd_now" and "Dnipro Operational. War".

As seen in the video, the woman approached the Heroes' stele and, with a swift motion, ripped off the plaque bearing the name of the fallen Vitaly Nesterenko. The vandal's face is not visible in the footage.

The perpetrator is already being sought by the police. The city council reports that the plaque has been restored.

It should be noted that Vitaly Nesterenko, with the call sign Nester, died on February 17, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 25 years old. He was born and lived in Pavlograd and attended secondary school No. 12.
