A teenager in Pavlograd was convicted for stealing all the money from her neighbor's card during a visit, reports "Vідомо" citing "Бегемот".
The man asked the girl to find one of his old acquaintances, and she assisted him. To show his gratitude, the neighbor invited the girl over for sushi. During the meal, the girl asked him to pay her 200 UAH for her help in locating his acquaintance.
The victim agreed and, in front of the girl, transferred the money to her via a mobile app. At that moment, the girl devised a plan. She secretly noted the password and then asked the man for his phone under the pretense of sending a text message. Instead, she accessed the app and transferred 6,000 UAH from the man's card to her great-grandmother's card, later simply spending that money. She also deleted the mobile app from the phone to cover her tracks.
However, this did not exempt her from punishment. The court found the minor guilty of committing a criminal offense under part 4 of article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and imposed a penalty according to part 4 of article 185 of the Criminal Code with the application of article 69 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in the form of probation supervision for a period of 1 (one) year.
