A tragic incident involving a child occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region - a boy died from an explosion of ammunition, reports "Vіdomo".

According to the Petropavlovsk police department, the tragedy took place in the village of Malonikolaevka. Stepan Sadovoy, a 9th-grade student at Petropavlovsk Lyceum No. 2, was found near a quarry. Nearby, tubes from ammunition were discovered. As a result of the explosion, the boy sustained injuries. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where medical staff did everything possible, but they were unable to save the teenager's life.

The case is under investigation by the police of Shakhtarsk, and the boy has been buried in Petropavlovka.
