In Dnipro, law enforcement officers apprehended a man who set fire to his neighbors' house, as reported by "Vydomo" citing the police of Dnipropetrovsk region.
The incident took place in the Novokodak district of the city. It was established that during a joint gathering, a conflict arose between the neighbors on the premises of a private residence. After the argument, the suspect temporarily left for his home and returned with a smoke grenade. Breaking a window, the suspect threw the smoke grenade into the room. As a result, a fire broke out in the premises. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
The man was detained by criminal police officers in the house of an acquaintance near a forested area, where he had been hiding after committing the crime.
Investigators informed the man of his suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
