The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, spoke about the significant increase in the number of Russian troops on Ukrainian territory, noting important changes in the nature of the war.

This is reported by Glavpost, citing nk.org.ua.

Syrskyi emphasized that the situation at the front is becoming increasingly complex, and the scale of the war continues to grow. According to him, the number of Russian troops on Ukrainian soil has significantly increased over the current year.

“Our data indicates that the Russian army has bolstered its ranks with an additional 100,000 soldiers who are now operating on Ukrainian territory,” Syrskyi stated.

He added that the war has entered a new technological phase, which has significantly altered the tactics of military operations. In this technological aspect, Ukraine may gain an advantage over its adversary.

“We see not only a confrontation of armies but also a war of technologies. This affects both strategic decisions and actions on the front line,” he explained.

The main goal of Ukraine, according to the Commander-in-Chief, remains to inflict maximum losses on the enemy.

Experts note that such changes require the Ukrainian Armed Forces to adopt greater flexibility in their approaches and utilize advanced technologies to neutralize the numerical superiority of the opponent.
