Сербия допустила ошибку – Вучич столкнулся с неловкостью на последнем голосовании в ООН.
The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution reaffirming support for Ukraine's territorial integrity, initiated by Kyiv and its European allies on the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion. One unexpected vote in favor came from Serbia, which caused a political stir within the country.

This was reported by Glavpost, citing Vijesti.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić acknowledged that this was a mistake and took responsibility for the incident. He explained that the country should have abstained, similar to its stance on the American draft resolution.

“I believe that Serbia made a mistake. I apologize to the citizens and take responsibility because I was likely exhausted and unable to monitor everything,” Vučić stated.

He emphasized that Serbia has consistently refrained from imposing sanctions against Russia over the past three years, and one resolution will not change this position.

“I understand that my statement may lead to a loss of support in the EU, but I am convinced that Serbia should have abstained. I did not have time to give this issue the attention it deserved, so the responsibility lies with me,” the Serbian leader added.

The UN General Assembly resolution reaffirms the commitment of the international community to Ukraine's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders. The document emphasizes that any territorial gain resulting from the use of force cannot be recognized as legitimate.
