The police in Kryvyi Rih have forwarded a case to court against an individual who was distributing drugs and attempted to bribe his way out of criminal liability. This information was reported by "Vidomo," referencing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

During a routine check, officers found approximately 50 slip packets containing cannabis on the 28-year-old man. Additionally, law enforcement seized another 190 slip packets of narcotic substances from local stash sites.

In an effort to evade responsibility, the 28-year-old offender tried to negotiate with a police officer, offering a bribe of $800.

The suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Currently, investigators, in coordination with the Kryvyi Rih Northern District Prosecutor's Office, have informed the suspect of charges under part 2, part 1 of Article 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, mailing, or sale of narcotic substances, psychotropic substances, or their analogs) and for attempting to bribe a police officer under part 3 of Article 369 (offering, promising, or providing unlawful benefits to an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The suspect has been placed in custody as a preventive measure.

Investigators have submitted an indictment to the court.
