Residents of Dnipropetrovsk attempted to flee to Moldova for $10,000.

In the Odessa region, border guards detained a group of men attempting to flee to Moldova, as reported by "Vідомо" citing the Southern Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Near one of the settlements in the Razdelnyansky district, border guards stopped two cars heading towards the border. A quartet of accomplices - two drivers and their two observer aides - were trying to illegally transport four conscript-age men across the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.

The passengers turned out to be residents of Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa regions, who had previously sought assistance from the admin of one of the messengers. The latter promised to arrange unobstructed passage across the border for $10,000 from each person.

To make the trip happen, the men arrived at a designated gathering place and then set off towards the state border.

However, the journey did not last long. The drivers and their aides were apprehended, and the vehicles and items related to the illegal activity were seized.
