In Verkhovtsevo, a woman stabbed a man in the stomach with a knife.

Police in Verkhnodniprovsk have informed a woman, who stabbed a man in the abdomen, that she is a suspect. This was reported by "Vydomo" referencing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Law enforcement officials determined that the incident occurred at the couple's residence in the city of Verkhovtsevo. During a dispute, a 49-year-old woman grabbed a knife and stabbed her husband. The victim was hospitalized with severe bodily injuries.

On October 31, in coordination with the Zhovtovodsk District Prosecutor's Office, the woman was notified of her suspicion for committing a criminal offense under part 1 of Article 121 (intentional grievous bodily harm).

The attacker faces a potential sentence of up to eight years in prison.
