A resident of Kryvyi Rih was injured in a triple car accident in the Lviv region (PHOTO).

On the evening of November 4, an accident occurred near the city of Zolochiv in Lviv region, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to a young resident of Kryvyi Rih. This was reported by "Vidomo" with reference to the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.

The traffic incident took place on November 4 at 18:20 on the "Lviv-Ternopil-Rava-Ruska" highway within the city limits of Zolochiv.

According to preliminary findings by law enforcement, a Hyundai Tucson, driven by a 64-year-old resident of Ternopil region, collided with a Mercedes truck driven by a 37-year-old from Rivne region. The truck, moving with inertia, hit a Mercedes sedan, which was being driven by a 21-year-old resident of Kryvyi Rih.

As a result of the collision, the passenger of the Hyundai, a 59-year-old woman from Kharkiv, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The drivers were taken to the hospital.

Following the accident, investigators initiated a criminal case under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The penalties under this article include imprisonment for a term of three to eight years, along with a ban on driving for up to three years, or without such a ban.
